What campers say

Red Hills State Park is a scenic, lake-centered park popular for camping, fishing, kayaking and wooded walks. Campground sites are mostly electric with water spigots and a dump station; a number of sites offer 50-amp or upgraded hookups and paved pads, but some sites are tighter with trees and may be difficult for very large rigs. Showers and flush toilets are generally clean, though a few facilities could use updating. Trails and viewpoints are attractive, but markings and some trail maintenance are inconsistent. The park is quiet, family-friendly, and staffed by helpful personnel.
