What campers say

Red Cliff Campground sits along the Gallatin River and is regularly praised for its river access, nearby trailheads, and proximity to Big Sky. The grounds are generally clean and well kept with friendly, helpful hosts and basic amenities like picnic tables and fire rings at most sites. About half the sites offer 30‑amp electrical hookups; potable water is available but sewer hookups are limited, so plan for dump options. Sites vary in level and privacy and the RV loop can feel crowded. Overall it’s an affordable, no‑frills spot popular for fishing, hiking and short stays.
