📖 About This Campground
The Buffalo County Recreation Area - Ravenna Lake, in Ravenna Nebraska provides back in and pull thru RV and tent camping along the shores of a small recreational lake. Formerly known as Ravenna Lake State Recreation area, the property was turned over to Buffalo County approximately 20 years ago, and has been upgraded to a full campground in the last 5-6 years. There are 41 RV campsites (8 primitive, 9 electrical hookups only, 16 electrical and water hookups, and 8 premium with electrical and water hookups). The lake has been stocked by Game and Parks and has excellent large mouth bass, crappie, catfish, and bluegill. The park also has a playground, hiking trails, horseshoe pits, and a disc golf course. A nice bathhouse/shower facility was just opened in the spring of 2022. Reservations and advance payment can be made online through the Buffalo County website ( and campspot.com), and drive up camping is available with payment made via an iron ranger at the entrance.
