This is our second time staying at this Resort and they have markedly improved the overall ambience and Design. All of the park roads and camping sites are packed gravel with mowed grass separation. There are two pools a playground basketball court propane fill restrooms Clubhouse gym and even cabins in the back. This is one of the top resorts in the country. If I could knock them for anything it is that their maintenance crew seems a little lacks on the maintenance of certain facilities they are all nice but there's just that little touch that's not complete. The price though is very reasonable at $42 per night with a AAA discount. We stayed here in order to fly into and out of Raleigh-Durham International Airport. It was a one-hour drive to and from the airport. We would stay here again as it is easy to get into and out of with our large RV.

What campers say
Raleigh Oaks RV Resort & Cottages is a well-maintained, family-friendly resort near I-95 with spacious, level gravel sites and grassy spots, plus small cabins and cottages. Guests frequently praise the attentive staff and on-site manager, two clean swimming pools, mini-golf, pickleball courts, regular activities (DJ, music bingo, weekend waffles) and a tidy bathhouse with good hot water. The park has a mix of longer-term residents and short-term visitors but retains an organized, welcoming feel. Excellent RV Park. Clean, pull thru sites with FHU, picnic tables, fire pit. Level, gravel, spacious with grass. Good WIFI, cable. Easy in/out, quick courteous check-in
The park has new owners that have upgraded all of the amenities and offices to top of the line. The pools, play areas, and gym are all 10 star high end stuff. During our stay, unfortunately, they had just started on the sites. Ours was covered with weeds and would best be compared to a desert dirt patch. I did speak with their new grounds-keeper, hired the week we stayed, who mentioned it was his job to turn the desert into grass. He was confident in his ability to do so and judging by the way the other parts of the park look will probably be very successful. The park is reasonably priced and convenient to the interstate. There are fueling stations nearby. A nice place to stay for a few nights. Verizon 4G was solid.
