Ponderosa Grove Campground

Ponderosa Grove Campground near Kanab Utah and Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park offers 9 primitive tent and small RV camping sites in a Ponderosa Forest. Located in a scenic area of the country this campground is available on a first come first served basis. Noted for its quiet and subdued feel the campground can be busy on popular weekends in season. 7.5 Miles off US 89 on Hancock Road the campground has fire rings at each site, picnic tables and pit toilets. No water is available; closest source is the Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park. RVs are limited to 21' max due to a tight turnaround and small parking pads; best suited to tents and truck/ van campers. Hancock Road is lightly traveled making this location exceedingly quiet.
