About this campground
What campers say
Poncho's Pond RV Park is a well-kept, family-friendly park with concrete, level pads and spacious pull-through sites, attractive landscaping, and a peaceful catch-and-release pond with paddle boats. The property offers multiple pools (indoor and outdoor, including adult-only options), a hot tub and a playground, and clean shower/bathroom facilities. Staff are consistently described as friendly and helpful, with on-site assistance like golf-cart guidance and wood delivery. The location is convenient to Ludington attractions and ferry access. Practical notes: a no-tent policy may not suit tent campers, train tracks run behind the park but are rarely disruptive, and reservations can be in high demand.

Ponchos Pond Was beautiful, relaxing, staff very friendly and
They were able to fit us in last minute after having to leave the Dunes Resort down in Silver Lake due to bad Verizon Coverage. I can happily report that Verizon 4G was solid here and worked fine. The park is packed full of campers and is a bit sketchy to navigate in a big rig (if I can make it you can just take your time). Lots of local Michigan area guests staying here Ludington is a destination for vacations. There is a ferry from Ludington to Wisconsin. The park has all the amenities all listed above already. We specifically needed propane tanks filled but ended up passing after they refused to send a maintenance guy over with a golf cart to lug the tanks to the filling station. The pool was cool and refreshing so we enjoyed our time there. As a first time visitor they extended a 10% discount making our nightly rate of $45 reasonable for the accommodations and amenities.
