What campers say

Pioneer Trail Park is a roomy, riverfront campground with a mix of sunny and shaded sites, cabins, and a variety of amenities including clean restrooms and showers, a boat/kayak launch, playground, disc golf, and laundry. Many guests praise the well-kept facilities and good water pressure, and several found staff helpful at check-in. Trade-offs include occasional train noise and mixed reports about staff friendliness; some visitors also noted mosquitoes near the tree line while others experienced few biting bugs. River sites offer nice views but can have steep drops, so families with small children should take caution.
