What campers say
Small, very rustic campground with only six first-come, first-served sites offering close river access and strong solitude for anglers and those wanting seclusion. Vault toilets are generally kept clean and a natural artesian spring provides potable water (slow flow, noticeable iron taste). Access involves several miles of rough two-track; the bridge used by some is reportedly gone, so reaching the river may require fording or balancing across logs. Expect limited privacy between sites, few facilities, and plentiful bugs in summer. Good choice if you prioritize quiet river access and simplicity; less suitable if you need easy road access or modern amenities.
