Park Description

Panther Creek State Park in Morristown Tennessee has 50 campsites complete with water, electrical hookups, grills, picnic tables, fire rings and a bathhouse facility. Located on the shores of Cherokee Reservoir, an impoundment of the Holston River. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is located about 45 miles south.

Panther Creek State Park in Tennessee is a picturesque camping destination located on the shores of Cherokee Lake. This 1,444-acre park offers a diverse range of outdoor activities and amenities, making it an ideal spot for nature lovers and adventure seekers.

The campground at Panther Creek State Park features 50 campsites equipped with water and 20, 30, and 50-amp electrical hookups, picnic tables, and fire rings. Eight of these sites also have sewer hookups. Modern restrooms with hot showers and a dump station are available for campers’ convenience, ensuring a comfortable stay.
