Outback Montana RV Park & Campground is a wooded, semi-private park near the lake and within driving distance of Glacier National Park. Many guests praise friendly staff, free hot showers and on-site laundry, and a quieter, tree-lined feel. Tradeoffs include narrow, uneven gravel sites, steep grades and tight turns that can be difficult for rigs over about 30–35 feet; sewer hookups and power can be awkwardly placed and sometimes shared with neighboring sites. Office hours and on-site services have been reported as inconsistent, and occasional noise or dust from nearby vehicles have been noted. Overall it can be good value if you fit the site constraints.
