One Ali'i Park in Kaunakakai is a family-friendly beachfront park with covered picnic tables, restrooms, a playground and a large open field for sports. It has ample parking and basic campsite facilities with showers; campers must obtain permits in person or by mail. The water is generally calm and shallow, good for paddling and shell-collecting, though it can be somewhat murky. Visitors can enjoy views across to Lāna‘i, dramatic sunsets, and frequent whale and seabird sightings. There are no shops on site, so bring food and supplies. Quiet, clean and well suited to relaxed family outings.
