What campers say

June Lake Loop's Oh Ridge Campground is praised for its alpine setting and immediate access to June Lake, with scenic views and a nearby dog beach; many visitors appreciate the location. Expect dry camping—no hookups or showers—and limited restroom facilities shared across loops; toilets generally flush but supplies and privacy vary. Sites are fairly close together with limited privacy, and entry can bottleneck during busy times. There may be extra fees for driving/parking at the lake and dumping RV tanks. Pack firewood (pinecones are common), be prepared for cold or windy conditions, and note staff experiences were mixed.

Forest Service Dry camping at $27 per night (2018) Picnic table and bear box at each site. Lake is about 1/2 mile from most campsites. Sagebrush, Jeffery Pines and Quaking Aspen surround the campsites. This is a picturesque campground with plenty of deer wandering through the campsites.
