What campers say

Oakknoll RV Park & Campground is described as a quiet, oak‑shaded spot with good stargazing, active birdlife, and family‑friendly amenities such as a pool, fire pits and occasional movie nights. Visitors consistently praise the on‑site manager and staff for being welcoming and helpful, including assistance with hookups and last‑minute needs. Practical tradeoffs include some sites needing leveling and general TLC, intermittent or weak Wi‑Fi, and occasional pool closures. The park also appears to host several long‑term residents and can work well as a private basecamp for small crews or groups visiting nearby parks and the observatory.

What a mistake! I only found your website after it was too late. We used another site and this campgrounds website to make our decision to stay. We wanted to be close to Palomar with our 36' 5th wheel. This place claimed to be able to handle us but as your video shows it is really just a tent camping site for the short term stays, they could fit a larger rig in their long term sites but did not even offer. We ended up needing to call a tow truck to help us get out after trying for 1 hour to unsuccessfully avoid trees and boulders while leaving. Neighbors were rude and inconsiderate making loud noisy until 3 am. Pool was nasty. Their dump station was out of order. I will bookmark Campground Views for future reference great resource wish I would have used it ahead of time!
