Beautiful sites along the water. Excellent shower facilities at main building, electric and water no waste hookups but two or three dump locations. National forest on other side of dammed river. Roughly a mile long park along the lake/river. Boat launch, good water sports fishing area. See picture. We will revisit this place.

What campers say
Beautiful, large waterfront campground with well‑maintained grounds and plenty of amenities: sandy beach, boat launch, playgrounds, camp store, live entertainment, clean restrooms and showers, water and many 50‑amp sites, plus some rental cabins. The lake scenery and fishing draw crowds, so sites can fill quickly—reservations or a waiting list are common and weekends are busy. Expect tradeoffs: several guests mention sites close together and seasonal neighbors that can feel crowded, and a few report customer‑service or entry‑fee frustrations. Overall, a scenic, amenity‑rich destination suited to boaters and families rather than seekers of solitude.
