Myrtle Beach KOA Resort offers convenient beach access and a mix of cabins, cottages, tent sites and RV hookups, plus a pool, laundry and camp store. Staff are frequently described as friendly and helpful. However, maintenance and cleanliness appear inconsistent: guests have reported dirty or poorly stocked bathhouses, cabin issues (mold, pests, odors, appliances), and awkward hookups or cramped pads at some sites. Peak-season stays can be crowded and noisy, with concerns about golf cart safety and inconsistent rule enforcement. Golf carts are available but rental policies and usage can be problematic. Overall, good location and service moments, tempered by variable upkeep and busy weekends.

Myrtle Beach KOA is located two blocks off the main drag in downtown Myrtle Beach South Carolina. The lovely camping area has been remodeled, as have most KOA resorts, with the addition of luxury sites for both pull through and back-ins. There are choices for natural dirt, packed dirt, and concrete parking pads. The KOA can easily handle any size RV and tent areas are suitable for tents tucked in to the trees. Sites vary by price point with some including picnic tables and others not. Cabins are available for rent and the park has all of the amenities one would expect at a KOA including bounce pillows, playgrounds, pool areas, water play areas and all of it set in a nice wooded setting. Guests are within walking distance of attractions and restaurants in Myrtle Beach. The KOA has a lake, office, store and laundry.
