We used this campground as a week stay over while visiting the Beartooth Mountains. Located off the highway there is road noise but not as bad as you would guess. Great Verizon Signal. Most people use this place as an overnight stop during their travels. Originally we planned on staying in Bozeman but the low quality high price of that area moved us down the highway a bit further; glad we stayed here.

What campers say
Mountain Range RV Park is a well-maintained, big-rig–friendly RV park just off the highway near Columbus. Staff and owners are frequently described as welcoming, and sites generally offer full hookups, gravel pads and a mix of shaded, grassy spots. Many guests praised the clean shower house and overall upkeep, though a few noted occasional bathroom cleanliness issues. Sites vary: some feel roomy with 15–25 feet between units and trees, while others are tighter and KOA-like. Expect convenient access to town, some highway noise, no dedicated dog run, and a helpful, attentive management team.
