Mountain Lake is a small, well-maintained spot with attractive scenery and reliable dam-side fishing. The site supports kayaks and carry-on boats (only small engines are reportedly allowed), and passes are sold on site. The campground below the dam offers picnic tables, grills, fire pits, pet-friendly rules, and a gated entrance that closes overnight.
