Mount Pisgah Campground sits on the Blue Ridge Parkway and serves well as a base for nearby hikes and waterfalls, with the Pisgah Inn and a small camp store within walking distance. Sites are nicely spaced, shaded and often offer privacy; tent pads, picnic tables, fire rings with swinging grills and bear boxes are provided. Bathrooms with warm showers are generally clean. Practical tradeoffs: larger RVs may find few, uneven, narrow spurs and some sites require stairs, which can challenge mobility. The camp store is convenient but pricey and wood quality can vary. Expect cool nights and occasional road noise.
