The sites are clean and level. Within walking distance of a restaurant, market and some fruit/vegetable stands. The marina is right next to the park. If you need excess parking (for tow vehicle, etc.) you can park right next to the KOA in the harbor parking. The cost was $15.00 per day and you can purchase multiple day pass at the marina office. Sites can accommodate larger rigs. We stayed in early July and weather at the park was cool and overcast. Nice retreat from home if you live where it is 100+ degrees that time of year.

What campers say
Moss Landing KOA Express is a small, well-kept RV park of about 26 side-by-side sites within easy walking distance of the marina, beach, seafood markets, and cafes. Guests commonly praise the helpful, attentive hosts, clean bathrooms, showers, and laundry, and close access to wildlife viewing, whale-watching launches, and nearby coastal towns. Expect a compact layout with tight sites, limited on-site amenities, a small dog run, and higher rates than dispersed camping; it may feel better suited to adults or couples than families seeking kid-focused activities. A convenient coastal base with tradeoffs in space and price.
