Minnie Peterson Campground is a small, free, first-come, first-served site (about eight campsites) that requires a Discover Pass. Sites are generally spacious and quiet, set in a rainforest that can be very wet; privacy is good though a few sites sit closer together or nearer the road. Amenities are minimal: one vault/pit toilet, no water, trash, or hookups—pack it in/pack it out and bring supplies (toilet paper, firewood). Practical tradeoffs include peaceful, scenic camping versus limited facilities; some visitors report decent cell service, but conditions may vary.
