Minneapolis Northwest KOA Journey sits on a shady, well‑kept site plan with mature trees, grassy campsites and roomy pull‑in/back‑in pads that accommodate large rigs. Facilities include a pool, mini‑golf, game room (somewhat dated and often pay‑to‑play), laundry and clean restroom/showers, plus picnic tables and fire rings. Staff are frequently described as friendly and helpful, though there are occasional reports of poor communication or rudeness. Some guests have experienced electrical or site pedestal issues and the roads are gravel with potholes that staff have been known to patch. Conveniently close to Minneapolis for day trips.
