Meriwether Lewis Campground on the Natchez Trace is a free, well-maintained dry campground popular with RVers and tenters. Sites are paved or level, many with pull-through options, picnic tables and fire rings in a shady setting. Restrooms are flush and reported clean with hot and cold water, but there are no showers, hookups or dump station, so bring potable water and plan for self-contained camping. Trail access to a nearby creek and Natchez Trace paths is convenient.
