Medicine Lodge Archaeological Site Campground north of Hyattville Wyoming provides primitive tent and RV camping sites in a remote location. Popular with ATV riders. Home to a large sandstone cliff that displays hundreds of Native American petroglyphs and pictographs.
28 primitive tent and RV sites on state managed land near a site of historical and archaeological significance. The state park is open year round with reduced amenities during the winter. 5 of the campsites are reservable in advance (during season). the campground has packed gravel roads with grass and dirt sites. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. A few water spigots are available as are restroom facilities. Three camping loops include Lower, Middle and "Group" areas.
It very inexpensive to camp at this location.
