What campers say
McLeod Park offers strong boating and paddling access, with river and small-lake launches, and roomy, well-kept campsites—many with concrete pads, full hookups, picnic tables and bathhouses. It’s a pretty, wildlife-rich setting popular for fishing and kayaking. Expect weekend crowds and occasional loud, party-like activity; quiet hours and enforcement can be inconsistent. Some sites can be tight for very large RVs, and there is no on-site Wi-Fi. A few maintenance issues (for example, splash pad care and an electrical outlet report) have been noted. Overall, a clean, scenic county park with good water access.
