Maynor Creek Park offers a beautiful, tree-lined lake setting with good fishing, kayaking, and roomy RV sites that many find quiet and relaxing. Tradeoffs include inconsistent site levels (some rigs required extra leveling) and limited internet. Bathhouses and some campsite areas need maintenance—visitors note mildew, plumbing and grounds upkeep issues—and the lake has increasing lily pads that narrow swim access. Cabin cleanliness has been an issue for some, though housekeeping improvements are underway and staff are generally described as pleasant and helpful. Overall appealing for outdoor recreation if you accept a few maintenance shortcomings.
