What campers say

Macomb Reservation is a well-maintained, family-friendly state park with clean, modern restrooms and hot showers, miles of hiking trails, playgrounds and easy lake access for fishing, canoeing or paddling. Sites vary: many are large and waterfront (some on a quiet peninsula), while others are closer together with limited privacy. A number of sites offer 30A electric; potable water is available at shared spigots and there’s a dump station. Wildlife is abundant (expect squirrels and turtles). Visitors note occasional generator noise and rare issues with site drainage after storms, so pick sites and timing accordingly.
