Luzerne State Campground is a large, family-oriented park centered on a clean swimming lake, with wooded loops, a dedicated equestrian area, and paved roads suitable for larger rigs. Sites vary—some are grassy and spacious while others are sandy, gravelly or rocky, and spacing between sites ranges from private to fairly close. Staff and restroom/shower facilities receive frequent praise (private stalls and hot water, though hot water can run low at peak times). The beach is popular but could use more daily trash patrols. Expect a strict 2pm check-in and occasional late-night noise reported by some visitors.
