What campers say

Little Talbot Island State Park offers wide, uncrowded beaches, natural dunes and driftwood, and good opportunities for shelling, birding, biking and paddling. The small campground (about three dozen sites) provides water/electric hookups, picnic tables, fire rings and clean bathhouses with showers, though RVs are generally limited to ~30 feet. Visitors praise the peaceful setting and wildlife sightings (turtles, crabs, birds), and staff are friendly. Practical tradeoffs: services are limited nearby, parking and beach access can fill on weekends so arrive early, and some have noted intermittent campground water pressure and rough approach roads.
