This is a very well maintained campground. There are two areas-A has smaller sites, B has larger sites and are on the river. Reservations are required. The sites are all water and electric only. The roads are paved and wide, marked well. Lots of playgrounds and picnic shelters throughout the park. Softball diamonds, bike rentals, trails, fishing pier, fire rings. Close to the interstate and the zoo and town.

What campers say
Lindenwood Campground is an older, well-kept urban park with mature trees, walking trails and riverfront sites that are especially pleasant for families. Facilities and bathhouses are generally clean and secured for campers, though soap/toilet-paper restocking can be inconsistent. Sites offer water and electrical hookups (30A in Loop B; 50A in Loop A), but many pads are sloped and some power locations require long cords — bring leveling gear and extensions. The park is conveniently close to the freeway and city amenities, but highway noise can be noticeable from certain sites. Not a luxury park, but good value for RV stays.
