Leon Valley Campground is a family-run, budget-friendly site with clean facilities — bathrooms, showers, and a well-kept pool — plus a playground and recreation room. Sites are generally level with water and electric hookups, picnic tables, fire rings, and plenty of green space for kids. Staff are described as welcoming and accommodating when changes are needed. Practical tradeoffs include many seasonal sites and frequent golf-cart traffic, limited pool hours reported by some visitors, and occasional reservation mix-ups where prebooked spots were reassigned. The campground isn’t directly on the bike trail but is within driving distance.
