What campers say

Leesville Lake Campground is a quiet, well-maintained small campground with roomy sites, a standout bathhouse, and easy lake access. Owners Jeff and Tracy are consistently described as friendly and hands-on—greeting guests at the entrance, assisting with backing and site setup, and actively maintaining the property. The setting feels safe and dog-friendly, suited to relaxing stays. Tradeoffs include strict enforcement of pool rules and occasional water restrictions during droughts; when wells run low guests may need to haul water or follow manager guidance. Overall it’s tidy and welcoming, especially for visitors who value attentive hosts.
