What campers say

Land of Yankee Fork State Park offers well-preserved gold-mining history and a compact, informative visitor center with a good museum and knowledgeable volunteers. Grounds are tidy, restrooms kept clean, and picnic spots and walking trails let visitors enjoy scenic views and short walks to features like the Bison Jump. There is ample parking, and the site supports RV needs (dump stations and potable water are available; a dump fee has been noted). Overnight parking at the visitor center is not permitted. Overall it’s a pleasant stop for history-minded visitors or a quiet outdoor stroll, with enough amenities for day users and RV travelers.
