What campers say
Lake Sheloole Campground and RV Park is a convenient, budget-friendly town-run park just outside Shelby, commonly charging about $25 per night. Sites are mostly level and easy to drive into, with 30A/15A electric at most sites and scattered water spigots; a few sites have closer water. There are no sewer hookups at sites but an on-site dump station is available. Restrooms and showers are older but generally kept clean and hot. The park is quiet with green space, a dog park and a nearby lake/dam—good for short walks and overnight or short-stay stops rather than a full-service resort.
