Many sites offer picnic tables, fire rings and ample parking, and restrooms are nearby and generally reported clean. There is no potable water on site, and dead or beetle-kill wood is often available for campfires. Expect strong winds and rapidly changing storms at times; secure tents and gear. The campground can be busy and some visitors report frequent generator use and occasional disrespectful behavior. Overall it’s a beautiful spot, with tradeoffs for seasonal crowds and weather.
