What campers say

Lake Owen Campground is a scenic, lakefront site popular for fishing, hiking, and a quiet wooded setting. Many sites offer picnic tables, fire rings and ample parking, and restrooms are nearby and generally reported clean. There is no potable water on site, and dead or beetle-kill wood is often available for campfires. Expect strong winds and rapidly changing storms at times; secure tents and gear. The campground can be busy and some visitors report frequent generator use and occasional disrespectful behavior. Overall it’s a beautiful spot, with tradeoffs for seasonal crowds and weather.
