Lake Norman State Park in Troutman North Carolina offers 30 campsites near the largest man-made lake in the state. Boat ramp, lake fishing. Rowboat, canoe and pedal boat rentals, swimming and fishing on 33-acre lake inside park. More than 30 tent and RV campsites; showers, dump station; two group backpack campsites. Community building, picnic shelters, interpretive programs, more than seven miles of hiking trails.

Legacy Reviews

An okay place to stay but with no hookups you better be self contained. It was nice when we were there. This worked well for our pop-up anything larger would be a stretch. More of a tent camping place.
