Lake Mitchell Campground is a well-kept, mostly quiet city park with shaded sites and a pleasant lake setting. Staff and hosts are frequently described as friendly and responsive. Facilities are clean and include showers, laundry, a playground, a beach and boat rentals; many RV sites have 30/50-amp or full hookups. Expect variability: some pads are tight or sloped for larger rigs, and the lake can experience occasional algae advisories. There have been occasional water interruptions, but staff communicate and assist. Good location for cycling and easy access to Mitchell.
