What campers say

Lake Irwin Campground sits on a scenic lake with strong mountain views and good hiking and fishing opportunities. It's popular, family-friendly, and often busy on weekends; sites are first-come, first-served so plan accordingly. Campsites offer basic amenities such as fire rings, picnic tables and pit toilets; restroom condition reports vary and facilities appear somewhat dated. There is no on-site water or RV dump, with town services a short drive away. Roads into the area can be rough, so avoid low-clearance vehicles. Expect a beautiful but active lakeside experience rather than a secluded, quiet retreat.
