We really enjoyed our time at this park. The only problem is some of the sites are very uneven, and the one way traffic made our camper face the road instead of the trees which we would have preferred. But now that we are aware we will pick sites accordingly.

Lake Gogebic State Park offers roomy, mostly lakeside sites with good access to a sandy beach, boat launch and canoe/kayak rentals. Campground upkeep and friendly staff/hosts are frequently noted; restroom and shower facilities are modern, clean and provide strong hot water. Many sites have electrical hookups but some pedestals are shared—an extension cord can be helpful. The park feels family-friendly with a playground and open grassy areas, and is a good base for nearby hiking and fishing. Expect a small, quiet park atmosphere; a few lakeside sites slope and some sites sit close to the road or neighboring RVs.
