What campers say

Lake Erie State Park offers sweeping Lake Erie views and consistently praised sunsets, with family-friendly amenities such as picnic shelters, playgrounds, disc golf, volleyball and a small park store. Campground facilities and shower houses are generally well kept, and the staff and rangers are often described as friendly. Practical tradeoffs include a beach that’s rocky (mixed sand/rocks), subject to driftwood and occasional debris, and swimming is at your own risk with no lifeguards. Sites provide electrical service and nearby water fill stations, but many gravel pads are narrow, uneven or overgrown and some sites limit access for larger RVs.

All about the sunsets! Amazing views in the late afternoon looking across Lake Erie. Stayed in our Class C but this is also a nice tent camping state park also. A bit crazy over the weekend but not too bad.
