KOA Missoula

This KOA probably does pretty well because they charge so much money for what is not worth that amount of money you're carrying the KOA brand like this it gives it a bad name and it's really kind of a sad situation here it's pretty much one of the few games in town and only the games are full too so it makes sense that it's so expensive but $130 a night for an RV site it's just pushing it especially when you're technically pulled in to a mobile home park with mobile homes that look like they should have been condemned a decade ago but it's the only game in town really and at that price you're always going to find a site cuz it's never going to be full

For a KOA, this is very nice. There are a lot of staff around, who are friendly. It's clean, well maintained, and is close to town. The pool is very nice, and there are lots of activities for families. We always find KOA sites too close together, and this one was no different, but we came to be near Missoula, and it was a great base for getting out into the town, where there is so much to do - breweries, hiking, tubing, eating. There are some larger sites, which I would imagine are charged at a premium rate, so if you were staying longer and wanted more space, then this might be for you - they have a larger outdoor area, dining table, swing and fire pit. Otherwise you get a strip of grass and a picnic tent. Which was ok for us as we were out and about. The restrooms are clean, though the showers could be a bit temperamental. Overall we would recommend this place, and I think for a KOA it is a very good example. We camped in a 26' travel trailer. We did notice that there were some nice looking tent sites.

Ended up passing on this place and glad we did. Just not for us. Stopped by and it felt very busy and crowded. You are in an urban setting in a park surrounded by mobile homes. They keep the grounds clean but wanted almost $350 for a one week stay.

For a KOA this place was really amazing. Excellent grounds large sites and easy access to amenities outside the park. As a plus the rate was more reasonable than other KOA campgrounds. Worth a stay in the area.
