What campers say

Nestled in a scenic canyon, Kershaw-Ryan State Park offers a peaceful, well‑maintained campground with about 16 sites, many providing water and electric hookups and roomy back‑in spaces suitable for larger rigs; parallel sites may slope and better suit shorter trailers. Amenities include heated restrooms with flush toilets, coin showers ($.25/4 min), a wading pool, playground and picnic areas. Trails and viewpoints deliver striking rock formations and seasonal color, but routes can be steep, loose underfoot and have poorly marked junctions, so plan accordingly. The park is close to Caliente and makes a convenient base for nearby attractions.
