Kenlake State Resort Park is a relaxed, lakefront property with scenic views, well-kept grounds and generally friendly, helpful staff. Guests often praise clean rooms or fully stocked cottages with full kitchens and an on-site restaurant that serves made-to-order breakfasts. The resort has an older, nostalgic feel—some units show cosmetic wear—and practical tradeoffs include small bathrooms, thin walls, limited in-room amenities (fridge/microwave) in some rooms, and cottages that may require long walks and many steps. A few guests reported rodents and noted that smoking enforcement and pool access (downstairs) can be issues. Overall, a pleasant, laid-back stay if you accept those compromises.
