Kalbus Country Harbor sits right on Lake Winnebago and is strongest for boaters and RV campers — many sites offer direct water access, a boat launch and places to tie up. Staff are regularly described as friendly and helpful, and restrooms/showers are clean and modern (some coin-operated). The grounds are well kept with attractive lake views and convenient access to nearby towns. Tradeoffs include closely spaced sites with limited privacy, a reputation for higher rates, reports of long-term occupants in certain loops, recent restrictions on tent camping under new management, and occasionally spotty internet.
