What campers say
Juniper Lake Campground is a small, scenic spot with several lakeside sites and good access for swimming, paddling, and nearby hiking. The loop is mostly first-come, first-served (around 19 sites) with a couple of group sites; sites generally include picnic tables, fire rings, and bear-proof food boxes. Facilities are primitive: vault latrines only, no reliable potable water, and trash/recycling bins. The last few miles of road are unpaved and can be rough—higher-clearance or AWD vehicles are recommended. Site layouts vary: some are secluded and lakeside, while others sit close together and can be noisy.
