What campers say

Jo Bonner Campground sits on Canyon Ferry Lake and offers attractive lakeside scenery, a small beach, boat launch with a dock, and a protected cove popular for paddleboarding. Sites are dry camping; a nearby dump station (about a mile away at Kim's Marina) costs $10. Many visitors praise cleanliness, friendly camp hosts, and the dog-friendly atmosphere, but several reports note noisy groups, early-morning generator use, and occasional inconsistent rule enforcement. Reservations are required and an $8 reservation fee applies; some campers also report empty reserved sites and limited walk-up availability. Consider these tradeoffs when planning a stay.
