What campers say
Jack's Creek Boat Ramp is a small marina and campground on Lake Marion that many visitors find friendly and scenic. The site has a restaurant and a modest store, good fishing for bass, shellcracker, bream, catfish and crappie, and a few camping spots (including some near the Palmetto Trail). Practical tradeoffs include a gated, paid launch with posted hours and towing enforcement, a shallow ramp that can make solo loading or larger boats difficult, and limited on-site supplies. Owners appear to be improving the property; service and food are often praised.
