Jado Park Campground is a small, family-oriented park set on rolling hills with roomy sites, a play area (soccer goals and basketball), weekend activities, and lots of wildlife that kids enjoy. Amenities include picnic tables, grills, a bathhouse/shower, pet-friendly rules, and fishing; Vineyard County Park and a swim-friendly beach are about 10 minutes away. Many guests praise the welcoming owners and quiet atmosphere, though a few report curt front-desk interactions and strict entrance checks. Tradeoffs include occasional traffic noise from US-12, a swampy pond in places, and limited electrical service (not 50-amp on some sites).
