What campers say
Howard Miller Steelhead Park is a well-kept county campground with level, gravel sites, decent shade, and easy river access and views. Sites have an RV-park feel with water and electric hookups but no sewer—there is a $5 dump station on exit. Bathhouses are heated, clean, and require a code or pay showers. A tent area sits closer to the water, and trails lead to river viewpoints and the Skagit-Sauk Reach Trail. Camp hosts are regularly described as welcoming, grounds are tidy, and families and dog owners find it a convenient, scenic base—reserve riverfront spots in advance.
