About this campground

Holiday Acres Camping Resort in Garden Prairie Illinois offers partial hookup RV and tent camping for short and seasonal stays.

What campers say

Holiday Acres Camping Resort offers a pleasant, green setting with updated common areas under new ownership — guests note cleaned grounds, functioning restrooms/showers by the office, an on-site restaurant/bar, fishing and bike-friendly space. Experiences vary: some campers praise friendly staff and seasonal sites, others report rude front-desk interactions and booking/site mix-ups (including hook-up changes). Facilities show trade-offs: laundry via app and maintained pools reported, yet playgrounds and pool handrails have been criticized, and occasional water-quality odor has been mentioned. Train noise is infrequent. Good option for those seeking a relaxed campground but verify hookups and ask about water and staff policies before booking.
