IN THE PAST there were many complaints about the management at this campground which is being run by lawyers until the two grandsons get old enough to take over. Finally a few years ago the people were all replaced by workers who care about their campers. Like all situations there is always room for improvement. Picture the letter "D" on its side. The bottom of the "D" is where the office is. Once registered ( after filling out a lot of paperwork because of lawyers) you must drive down the road to the second entrance. Many years ago it was a separate children's day camp. All roads are gravel ( dusty ) and there are several open grass fields. They do cater to their hundreds of seasonal campers ( which are their "bread and butter " NO swimming pool but there is a lake ( Coomers pond ) with lifeguard available at certain days and times . There are many golf cart riders . showers are clean and the store in the office only has a few items available. There is a full market in the next town a short drive away Adult hall is available ( usually for Friday evening BINGO) and a children's cash game room. Small laundry facilities are available. Some weekends there is free music entertainment .

Many guests praise friendly owners and staff and enjoy fishing, kid-friendly rec spaces and community events. At the same time, several visitors report inconsistent management, one-sided rule enforcement and limited after-hours support. Bathhouses and showers are frequently described as clean, though a few reviews note shower repairs and other minor maintenance needs (courts, picnic tables).
